The Personal Data Protection Law, Portuguese Law No. 58/2019, of August 8 (hereinafter “PDPL”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter “GDPR”), ensure the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

In legal terms, “personal data” means any information, of any nature and regardless of its support, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, meaning that protection does not cover data relating to legal persons.

By accepting this Privacy Policy, the user declares for the purposes set out in articles 4, no. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 11, 6th, 7th and 13th, that they provide Azores (un)guided with its free, spontaneous and informed consent for the processing of personal data, provided through the website https://azores-unguided.com, namely that they are included in a file under the responsibility of Azores (un)guided, whose processing under the terms of the PDPL and the GDPR complies with appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

Azores (un)guided maintains a database, of which it is responsible, with the registration of its customers. The data present in this database is solely the data provided by them at the time of registration, being collected and processed automatically, under the terms approved by the National Data Protection Commission.

Under no circumstances will information be requested about philosophical or political beliefs, party or trade union affiliation, religious faith, private life and racial or ethnic origin as well as data relating to health and sexual life, including genetic data. Purposes of processing personal data

Azores (un)guided guarantees the confidentiality of the data collected and the documentation received, and the information transmitted will be used solely within the scope of the service in question and within the strictly necessary limits. The personal data whose processing is authorized by this declaration may not be used for direct marketing or any other purposes of a commercial nature, including profiling or any other automated decisions and may be subject to portability in accordance with article 20 of the GDPR.

Security measures

Azores (un)guided declares that it has implemented and will continue to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the security of personal data provided to it in order to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing or access, taking into account the current state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed. Azores (un)guided guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its customers. Data collection and processing is carried out securely and prevents its loss or manipulation. All data will be inserted into a Secure Server (128-bit SSL) that encrypts/encodes it (transforms it into a code). You can verify that your browser is secure if the padlock symbol appears or if the address starts with https instead of http.
